Discover the Celina Beer and Wine Scene
You may be familiar with the acclaimed wine rooms and craft breweries of Downtown Dallas, Legacy West in Plano or The Star in Frisco, but did you know the Celina beer and wine scene is rapidly making a name for itself across North Texas?
Head to Downtown Celina and you’ll have a wide variety of establishments to explore and enjoy great drinks with friends. You can also pick up growlers and wines for your upcoming holiday parties at any of these Celina businesses.
Rollertown Beerworks
The budding brewery opened in 2020 and has quickly name for itself amongst the North Texas craft beer scene. Located at 412 N. Oklahoma Street, Rollertown Beerworks has 10 house-brewed beers on draft, offering flights of four as well as 16-ounce and 64-ounce growlers.
If you’re not much of a beer drinker, Rollertown also serves up delicious cocktails including a Seltzer-based frozen lemonade, Moscow mule, pomegranate margarita and frozen cherry mojito sour.
Carmela Winery
Owned and operated by a father-son team, Carmela Winery’s tasting room is inspired by wine rooms in Napa and Sonoma, California. Carmela features Italian red and white wines, in addition to other fine wines from around the world.
You can even round up a group of friends for a bottling party at Carmela’s! Find the winery at 132 N Louisiana Dr.
Valley Vines Tasting Room
Valley Vines opened in Downtown Celina at 222 W. Walnut St. in 2020. They specialize in small, family-owned, boutique wineries that are not widely distributed outside of their own tasting rooms.
In addition to an extensive wine menu, Valley Vines serves charcuterie boards and cheese plates. Join their Family Wine Club to access seasonal wine releases, discounted wine shipments, discounts on tasting room purchases and much more.
Little Wooden Penguin
This unique “experience space” offers fun for the whole family. Located in Downtown Celina at 212 N. Oklahoma Dr., Little Wooden Penguin offers 28 rotating beers and wines on tap, shopping, mini golf, live music, indoor/outdoor TVs and rotating food trucks.
Little Wooden Penguin is the perfect place to watch the game or take the family for a fun outing in Downtown Celina!
The Silos – Opening 2022
Last but not least, a new whiskey and wine bar is coming to Celina! A cluster of unused grain silo towers are being repurposed into The Silos, an upscale lounge, restaurant and bar which is expected to open in early spring 2022.
Owner Michael Arani told the Dallas Morning News the menu will be simple, with brick oven pizzas, burgers, tacos and charcuterie boards. The Silos will also host classes on making beers, spirits and wines.
The Silos will be located at 300 N. Oklahoma Drive near Rollertown Beerworks and Little Wooden Penguin.
Downtown Celina boasts a flourishing beer and wine scene and we’re thrilled to welcome The Silos in 2022! When you live in Cambridge Crossing, you’re just moments away from all the fun.
